Software Testing is the process of investigating the quality of a product or service in order to provide stakeholders with a view of its success. The BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT (the Institute, formerly ISEB) and the UK Testing Board (UKTB) signed an agreement in March 2010. This agreement will see the Institute working more closely with UKTB and ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) to provide one single International Software Testing Certification Scheme - the ISTQB Certified Tester scheme.
